Our waiter was great, so helpful and informative The overall restaurant was pretty loud and packed, but makes sense with it being the original location. Our food was great! Got the crispy chicken eggs Benedict and breakfast tacos which was great and well flavored. Would return!

Kerbey lane is what little remains of how Austin once was and is such a comforting place to come back to time and time again. It feels like the only place left that will serve the appropriate portion of queso and chips and the huge chunky mugs of coffee and hot chocolate I’ve grown to love over the years. From being a kid tagging along with my grandparents to kerbey lane to an adult with my own children and taking them there it’s consistently been a place that feels like home and that feeling extends to all of their locations to the most part, this location just happens to be my favorite. Favorite dishes are vegan breakfast platter and the enchiladas and the queso of course.

Cozy atmosphere with the exception that it took some time to order but it was SOOOO worth it because I have NEVER had such BUSSIN pancakes in my WHOLE life Fried chicken and pancake combo??? THE BEST!! Very good and lovely staff

Want to give a shout-out to Ericka, our waitress, who went above and beyond to make not only my birthday memorable, but also for her patience and detail to taking care of my friend who has special medical needs. Our food was great, my birthday cake was delish, and the service was exceptional. My salmon tacos were flavorful and even more so, with their fresh salsa on the side. The American breakfast with a stuffed omelet was perfect, and what can i say, the blueberry pancakes were a dessert in themselves! The only disappointment is that they discontinued the Apple wholewheat pancakes. Highly recommend!(note: due to the crowds this restaurant, located in an antique house, can get fairly noisy).

What can you say, it's Kerbey Kerbey. It's one of the originals. All-day breakfast, tex-mex, burgers. Food is good, and again, original. The home fries you either love or hate. The sausage link is definitely not what you'd but at the supermarket (though I don't love it, too coarse). Service is often great, though they keep hiring some duds that I don't understand why they choose customer service. The place could probably be managed a bit more energetically. But overall I love it. Because it's Kerbey Kerbey.

The original location just hits different!!! We came here for my son’s birthday and it did not disappoint. I had the migas which was absolute fire! The tortillas come out piping hot. My husband got the Paris Texas Platter with the seasonal lemon poppy seed French toast which was fluffy and delicious!!! The birthday boy got the bacon cheese burger and it was juicy and delicious. Great flavor! Our other son got the baked potato omelette which he said is the best he’s ever had! The seasoned potatoes are so yummy as well!

We were here for mother's day and the staff was so friendly and the food was beautifully displayed. It was a lovely experience.

At first i was a little off put by the host bc he didn’t really talk to us and didn’t seem very welcoming maybe he was just having a bad day? it’s ok but our server Noah was great! He recommended the chilaquiles and they did not disappoint. Super friendly, patient, and made the whole experience a lot more fun. Solid pick, solid service. And the whole vibe of the place was nice and homey too (:
